The company is headed by Vic Quayle who specialises in developing and editing information services in a variety of media. After spending 15 years as an environmental health officer he set up his own publishing company and produced information services for professional sectors such as health and safety, maritime safety, fire safety, environmental management, water quality and personnel management. He has worked with well known publishing companies such as Croner, Barbour Index and Technical Indexes.

The company name, Wyntok, sums up the company ethos. It is an acronym for “what you need to know”.

Who should use Employment Law for Local Councils?
The law on employment is common throughout England and Wales, areas where there are local councils (town, parish and community councils). This website has information and guidance suitable for any local council, large or small, and will provide a wealth of information to assist in managers comply with the legal requirements.

How will it be kept up to date?
Wyntok monitor relevant official and authoritative sources such as government departments and agencies on a daily basis and keep track of consultations, new reports, legislation, codes of practice. New developments will be noted in the News section with new content in the main sections of the website being amended and added to as appropriate.

What about the Courts and Employment Tribunals?
We monitor the results from these as well and when there is relevance to local councils report on them as well.
